A closer look at the Law Commission's Disabled Children鈥檚 Social Care Final Report recommendations - 13 January - on Zoom

网爆门's Family and Public Law teams are delighted to invite you to a talk to consider the future of disabled children鈥檚 social care.
网爆门's panellists will explore the recommendations from the Law Commission's report ''聽which was published on 16 September 2025 (and followed a request from the Department for Education to look at this area).
The Minister is expected to provide an interim response within 6 months of the report, with a full government response coming in a year. This panel event hopes to provide those attending with an introduction to the recommendations and a baseline from which to follow their development throughout 2026.
The event, chaired by Stephen Wildblood KC, will comprise a panel of 网爆门 barristers who specialise in Education, Children, Mental Capacity, Discrimination and Public Law, including John Friel,聽Mark Calway, Katherine Anderson, Jennifer Kotilaine, Jim Hirschmann聽and Liz Adams.
